Department OverviewMotorola Solutions is the market leader in delivering large scale communications systems for the federal and public safety markets. These systems support the mission critical communications needs of organizations such as Police, Fire, EMS, DEA, Customs and Border Patrol, as well as many others. The CPE SW E2E Triage team analyzes and resolves SW issues related to the products in the field.
Job Description

The CPE SW E2E Triage team is responsible for analyzing and resolving software issues related to our products in the field. We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our team to analyze, develop, design, and maintain software for our organization’s products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and troubleshoot software issues in deployed products.

Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.

Develop, validate, and test software structures and user documentation.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in object-oriented software development using C++.

Knowledge of the Android environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Demonstrated critical and analytical thinking abilities.

Perform system integration of software and hardware to ensure program consistency and maintain throughput.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance and reliability.


Basic Requirements

Bachelor's Degree; major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

OR 3 years of engineering or technical experience.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
