CPS Model Coordinator/Data Analyst

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:  The Collaborative Problem-Solving (CPS) Coordinator/Data Analyst will be embedded within AOBH’s. The CPS Coordinator will work directly with all AOBH program staff to ensure model fidelity.  They will facilitate, track, report on, and follow-up all areas of compliance to the CPS evidence-based model.

 

 

REPORTS TO:  Vice President of Residential and Youth Justice Services

 

SUPERVISES:  N/A

 

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Work side by side with CPS Coach and/or Consultant to coordinate training and coaching sessions with Think:Kids. Conduct Mini-Training sessions and CPS refreshers side by side with CPS Coach and/or Consultant. Attend three CPS Tier Trainings to become certified, with progressively increasing responsibilities (observation, partial facilitation; facilitation of full modules) Meet with CPS Coach to process trainings, including assessing staff development; and develop specific action plans to address improvement opportunities. Receive feedback from Consultant and Coach about performance. Understand and demonstrate the ability to utilize and implement the foundational modules in practice. Demonstrate effective facilitation and training style. Effectively utilize activities to teach and engage training participants. Focus on content and process of the participants and make adjustments as needed. Role model and provide guidance on setting a therapeutic tone in the programs, emphasizing a strengths-based approach. Facilitate, track, report on, and follow-up all areas of compliance to the CPS evidence-based model.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Bachelors degree required; Master of Social Work preferred. Minimum of two years of experience working in a residential setting as a manager or case worker. Must complete and pass trainer certification process with Think:Kids within a year of hire for this position. Must be comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Word Performance evaluations and recommendations must reflect: Understand and have demonstrated adherence to the CPS Model. Good communication skills. Professional behavior and respect for boundaries.

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Multiple work sites in Queens and Brooklyn; may include Long Island. Hybrid Work Position – Remote and In-Person
