The focus of this role is to be part of a team of logic design engineers to develop new and existing features for Intel's next generation CPU IP resulting in high quality final design. You will be responsible for RTL implementation of new architecture and microarchitecture capabilities.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

This team is responsible to ensure the highest quality of Intel's CPU designs, in a dynamic cross-team environment.

Understand feature specification from Architects and implement RTL code.

Ensure Quality of RTL while meeting Power, Performance and Security requirements of the design.

Performing and debugging digital simulations and driving to closure of bugs.

Development of functional coverage and assertions.

Working closely with Validation engineers, micro-architects and back-end team members to ensure high quality of test plans, coverage and RTL implementation.

Ability to deliver high-quality output against deadlines and able to work effectively in a cross-site team environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

Candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Coursework, Internship and/or experience should be in the following areas:

Digital design, ASIC design flow and computer architecture.

Knowledgeable of at least one programming/scripting languages such as C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python, and Unix (Linux).

Experience with hardware description languages (such as VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog).

Basic skills pertaining to pre-Si, examples include logic simulators (Xilinx, Quartus, Modelsim, VCS, Questa).

Debug capabilities.

Intermediate English proficiency (both verbal and written).

Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Computer Architecture concepts like ALU, Cache memory, registers.

Basic RTL implementation as FSMs and counters.

Working Model
