CRA Loan Officer
**JOB SPECIFICATIONS:** **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** + Demonstrated sales ability with the ability to build a referral network. + In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, loan programs, underwriting requirements, and regulatory guidelines; including CRA related products (FHA, VA, etc.) to low-to-moderate income borrowers and in low-to-moderate income neighborhoods. + Proven relationship building and client service; growing network of outside contacts to generate referral flow. + Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills. + Ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including financial management, budgeting, and investing. + Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of laptop loan submissions. + Flexibility in work schedule. + Ability to meet the needs of customers with regard to their schedule and location. **Experience & Education** + Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience required. + 3+ years related mortgage or outside sales experience required. + Established network of community-based organizations, municipalities, and agencies whose primary focus is affordable housing and first-time home buyer education + Valid NMLS Registration required. + Bilingual preferred **Internal and External Contacts** Initiates relationships and has frequent contacts with real estate professionals, attorneys, housing authorities, government agencies and other sources of mortgage loans. **Working Conditions/Physical Requirements** Office environment. Ability to operate computer. Ability to communicate in order to exchange simple to complex information with individuals and groups. Ability to travel throughout Bank footprint.
