Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities of the Crane Maintenance Technician include performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance to overhead cranes. . Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Minimum two year maintenance or technical degree or 4 years industrial maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Two year technical degree in electrical maintenance and/or equivalent experience

2. Good understanding of AC and DC motors and drives

3. 4 years previous experience with corrective and preventative maintenance procedures associated with overhead cranes
