Wood is currently recruiting for a Crane Mechanical Technician with strong experience in offshore crane mechanics, hydraulic experience and the expertise to work on and fix hydraulic pedestal cranes and associated systems. 

Preferable hold Stage 3 Crane Operators certification.  

The position is based on an FPSO the Eastern Mediterranean region, the normal working rotation 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off.

Our client are operating 2 fields, located Offshore East Mediterranean, the operation of the fields is undertaken using a newly-build, spread-moored gas FPSO unit to process gas and associated liquids from subsea wells.  Dry pipeline spec gas is produced and piped through a gas export line to an onshore facility in East Mediterranean  while the recoverable liquids (light Oil and Condensate) is tandem offloaded into tankers from the FPSO.  

Due to the operating standards in the region being aligned to those in the North Sea, experience of working in the North Sea is required.
