Position Description

Successfully operates cranes to discharge cargo from vessels to shore.

Position Requirements

Safely and efficiently operate cranes and related gear to transfer materialsMaintain and repair cranes as trained and instructedAssist in the  troubleshooting and repair of equipmentAssist as required in the transfer and storage of materials through the use of conveyors, rolling equipment and related equipmentParticipates in operational, safety and environmental training as assignedOther duties as instructed by managementWork a rotating schedule as assignedMust be available for non-scheduled shifts as neededWork outside in all types of weather conditionsClimb stairs up to 80 feetMeet physical and medical requirements as Crane Operator per OSHA 1917.27Must be able to secure TWIC Card
