Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in New Market, Ontario from Monday-Saturday starting at 8:00am. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating the crane to lift, move, position, and place materials safely and efficiently. 

What you’re responsible for:

Safely operate a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facilityLift and transport metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely place them in designated areas or processing equipmentLoad and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load securityCollaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnelConduct pre and post inspections of the crane, including overall crane maintenanceYou may be asked to operator the following heavy equipment: Crane, Shear, Loader

Qualifications

To join our team:

Crane Operator certification and/or experience is requiredMinimum of 1 years of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial settingAttention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materialsSolid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handlingFamiliarity with various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples
