50000-80000 per year | Belfield, ND, USA | Hourly | Full Time ND Energy Services is seeking experienced Crane Riggers. A Crane Rigger assists with inspections and configuring cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, and blocks according to weight and size of the load to be moved. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: + Align, level, and anchor machine + Attach loads to rigging support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools + Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, booms, using bolts and clamps + Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use + Fabricate, set up, and repair rigging, supporting structures, hoists, and pulling gear + Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear to move or support materials, such as heavy equipment + Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches according to load weights and sizes + Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads in order to ensure safety of workers and materials + Attends and participates in safety meetings + Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability + Tilt, dip, and turn suspended loads to maneuver over, under and/or around obstacles + Understand and comply with company, customer, and health/safety policies, and any other regulations that are required + Reports any and all incidents immediately + Able to work in all weather conditions + Performs other duties as directed by management Required Skills: + Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment + Must possess organization and problem-solving skills + Must be able to work with a team + Must be able to lift 100 lbs and handle physical demanding work + Must be clean shaven + Must be able to communicate using oral and basic written communication + Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening and participate in the random testing pool + Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record check + Arrange for reliable transportation to and from work Qualifications: The requirements listed in this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required and must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
