**Job Title: Crane Technician** **Job Description** Technicians will spend their days primarily on different job sites across Alabama. These jobs will consist of scheduled servicing and equipment breakdowns. They will use both mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, which are mainly used in manufacturing and production-based environments. Technicians must be good with customers and well-versed in the company/industry. They must also be comfortable climbing up to the cranes. While the shift is mainly Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, there is flexibility with the days and hours worked, allowing for a full-time schedule that may include Sunday through Thursday or Saturday through Wednesday starting at different times. **Responsibilities** + Perform scheduled servicing and equipment breakdown repairs on overhead cranes. + Use mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair cranes. + Inspect equipment to OSHA/ANSI criteria. + Troubleshoot electrical circuits, PLCs, and VFDs. + Complete all necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on-site. + Maintain positive customer interactions and continue to build relationships. + Input work orders and job updates on iPhone and computers. + Participate in an on-call rotation with the service team. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of overhead crane experience OR 2 years of electrical troubleshooting experience. + Experience servicing equipment or machinery on-site. + Comfortable working at heights. + Experience in millwork, electrical troubleshooting, maintenance technician, and preventive maintenance. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. + Hand and power tool experience, including voltmeter use. + Experience working with low voltage electrical. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
