**Job Title: Crane Technician** **Job Description** This position is located in Elko, NV. The Crane Technician will troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists. The role involves performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities, supporting customers by interfacing effectively to repair equipment, and evaluating and making repair recommendations. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists. + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment. + Support customers by interfacing with them and the office to repair equipment as needed. + Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers. + Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements. + Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations, OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to repair calls. + Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists. + Build and maintain customer confidence by maintaining good response time, informing customers of problems, and completing the job in a timely manner. + Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas. **Essential Skills** + Ability to troubleshoot 3-phase electrical systems. + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. + Experience with machine repair, maintenance, and crane inspection. + Ability to work at heights above 25 feet. + Clean driving record. + Experience in welding and hydraulic pneumatic systems. + Ability to perform machine installation and maintenance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to fabricate and weld structures. + Experience assembling and repairing complex machinery. + Good driving record. + Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. + Capability to work independently. + Skill in troubleshooting electrical circuits. + Proficiency in performing inspections to OSHA/ANSI criteria. + Excellent communication skills. + Willingness to travel. + Safety-oriented mindset. + Ability to maintain confidentiality. + Customer service oriented while being quality and results-driven. **Why Work Here?** This is a direct placement position offering excellent pay, a provided work truck, career benefits, 401k matching, health, vision, and dental packages.
