Responsibilities

The Craps/Roulette Dealer Academy Teacher will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging training programs to students aspiring to become professional casino dealers. The Teacher will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting theoretical and practical classes in a simulated casino environment, using industry-standard equipment, and following gaming regulations and procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Casino Dealer Academy Instructor:

Develop and deliver effective training programs to students on the following games: craps and roulette.Provide training on customer service skills, money handling, and basic mathematical calculations related to casino operations.Create lesson plans, course materials, and assessments, including written and practical exams.Provide feedback, evaluate student progress, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and procedures.Maintain a safe and clean learning environment.Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations and procedures.Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to achieve common goals.May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Floor Supervisor:

 

Responsible for smooth operation of a specific amount of table games within a gaming pit(s) to include:

Offers the highest possible level of customer service resulting in a maximum level of player enjoyment and return play.Monitors and adjusts table game limits with respect to gaming volume.Responsible for handling customer requests, including information, markers, and comps.Ensures accuracy of all monetary transactions.Responsible for compliance with all Seminole Gaming’s Compliance and Regulations and Federal CTR & SARC regulations.Responsible for specific table games scheduling for Dealers.Responsible for maintaining a high level of subordinate performance & productivity.Responsible for customer enjoyment and satisfaction.

Offering the highest possible level of Customer Service resulting in a maximum level of guest enjoyment and return playResponsible for knowing all policies & procedures of the specific table game he/she is supervising.Maintaining a work environment that is safe, professional, friendly and conducive to a high level of productivity & performance, as well as, morale.Works diligently to support the Seminole Gaming’s culture and team philosophy throughout the property.Acts as a role model to all employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Seminole Gaming and encourages other team members to do the same.Promotes positive public relations and creates an enjoyable atmosphere for all customers.Amicably resolves customer related problems in a fast paced environment.Ensures the protection of customer’s rewards and credit lines.Complies with all departmental and Company Policies including Seminole Gaming’s business ethics guidelines.Complies with all regulatory requirements.Maintains confidentiality of all Seminole Gaming trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information.Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment. Qualifications

 

High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.Previous experience as a professional casino dealer or casino supervisor.Certification from a recognized dealer school or equivalent experience.Strong knowledge of casino games and procedures.Knowledge of Craps & Roulette preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications as needed.

Physical Requirements:

The ability to stand for long periods of time.The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.The ability to maneuver and operate gaming equipment.

 

CLOSING:

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
