Job Title: Crate Builder
Job Description

Assemble wooden crates, pallets, and boxes for shipping purposes. Cut, nail, or staple wood pieces to customer specifications. Operate hand and power tools safely.

ResponsibilitiesBuild crates using saws, nail guns, and benders.Understand and follow inventory lists.Perform minor computer work to lock up prints.Essential SkillsExperience with hand tools and power tools.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Proficiency in using a tape measure.Basic carpentry skills, including woodworking techniques.Physical strength to lift and move heavy materials.Attention to detail for precise measuring and cutting.Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with crate building.Ability to perform minor computer tasks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

All positions are on the first shift, with hours from Monday to Friday, 5 am - 1:30 pm or 3:30 pm if working overtime. Third shift runs from Sunday to Thursday, 6 pm - 2:30 am or 4:30 am if working overtime. Saturdays are optional, from 5 am to 10 am. The work environment can be hot in the summer, but doors are kept open for ventilation. It is clean, and all necessary tools are provided. Safety is a top priority.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
