Crawler Tractor Operator
**Overview** **Great Hills Constructors,** **a member of The Walsh Group** is currently seeking a **Crawler Tractor Operator** for the WWTT/183 North Mobility Project, in Austin, TX. The Primary function of a Crawler Tractor Operator is to operate Crawler Tractor at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; equipment operators are also expected to assist in other duties around the jobsite as needed; operates equipment in compliance with company operating safety, policies, and procedures. There are many compelling reasons why exceptional people should consider a career with our company: + Challenging, complex projects + Creative and innovative problem solving environment + Supportive, communicative managers who reward your success + Opportunities for growth, training, and development + Flexibility to build what you want, where you want **Responsibilities** _Responsibilities include but are not limited to:_ + Operates Crawler Tractor to complete tasks such as clearing land, trimming backfill, grading elevations and to move and/or transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and other types of aggregate + Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials + May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; performs daily safety and maintenance checks along with equipment inspections; completes paperwork and other documentation as required + May be some vibration associated with equipment operation; jolts and vibrations may result from operating equipment; loud noise when operating equipment + May perform other related duties as required **Qualifications** + 3-5 years of operating experience preferred + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs + May be required to work in adverse weather conditions + Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures + Communicate effectively with co- workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly + Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn + Requires good manual dexterity + May be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods If hired by The Walsh Group, you must be in compliance with your employment location’s COVID-19 related requirements, if any.
