Purpose of role
The Creative Director role entails overseeing the entire creative production output for a Creative Services studio.
This position requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanour, and someone willing to proactively support and engage with surrounding colleagues and clients. Collaborating with an onsite Traffic Manager, responsible for the studio's operational aspects and direct management, the Creative Director is expected to offer assistance as needed. Reporting into the SR Account Manager, who holds overall accountability for delivering all services provided to this client, this role is integral to the wider account management team for this client.
Key responsibilities
Inspire, lead and drive high quality creative production output from conception through to completionBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver value, quality and strategic output for themIdentify creative production opportunities within the bank, helping to create a pipeline of work for the studioAlign approach within the studio with client strategies from across the business, including brand marketing, events, and corporate communicationsDeliver industry insight and market trends to drive innovationCollaboration with the wider WL creative production communityIdentify and develop solutions which meet client requirements, work within the client brand guidelines and are accessible for the intended audienceProvide creative consultation as part of the briefing process with the studio on best solutions and media, to ensure a successful output and happy clientHands on management of complex jobs, pre-empting issues, coordinating work and production, including print and deliveryMonitor progress of activities to ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and client brand guidelinesEnsure that message quality, format, and content meet the brief and are consistent with firm-wide communication guidelinesGuide and advise members of the team in the design and use of template material, providing training where necessaryTo be a technical expert in all areas of design for print and digital mediaTo ensure quality control and pre-flight checking procedures are adheredTo support the Studio Manager in ensuring internal workflow practices are adhered to within the studio, and all billable work is recordedPersonal attributes
