Premise offers a wide range of dynamic, purpose-driven career opportunities. We are currently looking for a Creative Manager to join our team in Brentwood, TN. This is a hybrid position reporting in office two days per week.


About the role:

The Creative Manager is responsible for leading the creative direction and operational aspects of design. They partner closely with the Marketing and Communications team, acting as the creative authority to ensure all design projects align with the Premise Health brand and advance overall business objectives.


In a player-coach capacity, the Creative Manager will lead and mentor a team of designers while managing their own portfolio of projects. By fostering innovation and maintaining high-quality standards, the Creative Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the brand’s visual identity, driving engagement, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.


Job Requirements: 

•Creative Strategy: Develop and implement creative strategies that align with the company’s brand, goals, and target audience. Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team, as well as other stakeholders, to define creative objectives and ensure cohesive execution across channels.

•Creative Direction: Lead creative direction for digital campaigns, website UI/UX, print collateral, video content, presentations, and multimedia projects. Set and maintain high standards for creative excellence. 

•Media Room Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the media room, ensuring resources, workflows, and production schedules support timely and high-quality content creation.

•Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a graphic designer and presentation specialist, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.

•Project Management: Supervise the end-to-end creative process for multiple projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Maintain efficient workflows and resource allocation utilizing approved project management platforms.

•Design Oversight: Maintain and elevate the company’s brand identity by creating and upholding visual standards across all platforms. Ensure all creative outputs align with brand guidelines, effectively communicate the value proposition, and provide brand-appropriate solutions through design approvals and strategic guidance.

•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and corporate teams to understand business objectives and translate them into compelling creative solutions. Build strong relationships across the organization to facilitate successful execution.

•Industry Insights: Stay current with industry trends and best practices, incorporating new techniques and tools to drive innovation and creative excellence.

•Performance Metrics: Establish and analyze KPIs to measure the effectiveness of creative initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve outcomes.


Education:

•Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising or related field or equivalent work experience.


Experience:

•7+ years of experience in creative and graphic design roles, with demonstrated progression into leadership positions in a corporate environment.

•Experience in digital design; UI/UX expertise preferred.

•Experience designing email templates, websites, brochures, advertisements, and large-format graphics.

•Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools such as WordPress, HubSpot or similar email automation platforms. 


Knowledge and Skills:

•Exceptional design skills for both print and digital platforms, including branding and visual identity, print layout, website, mobile and email template design, iconography, information design and digital/social graphic creation. 

•Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom with strong XD skill level) and PowerPoint.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as most employees and clients are PC users.

•Strong online portfolio showcasing a variety of professional print and digital work.

•Proven ability to manage and deliver high-quality creative projects across various formats and channels.

•Accuracy and high attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.

•Excellent project management capabilities, including prioritization and meeting deadlines.

•Leadership and mentoring abilities to inspire and develop creative talent.

•Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

•Independent, organized worker with high attention to detail who is able to set priorities and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. 

•Mastery in visual communication and graphic design fundamentals such as composition, layout, typography and color theory.
