We are seeking a Manager of Creative Production to lead, support and mentor our Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack center-of-excellence (COE) team, ensuring we meet our goal of producing content at scale in the most impactful, efficient and automated way possible. Our Marketing vision is to ignite growth through deepening customer connection, and our team is responsible for delivering content to drive customer engagement, grow our customer base, and execute strategies that will differentiate us from competitors.
The opportunity to reach customers with the most relevant and personalized content and messaging – and determine how that work is created, produced, targeted and deployed – is changing at an extremely fast rate and we are evolving in line with the industry. By strategically leveraging internal and external expertise and technology, we aim to expedite our evolution, enabling our internal team to focus on the highest impact, strategic, custom work while also utilizing outsourcing and automation to deliver faster, more scaled content.
Joining us at a pivotal time of transformation, this critical Manager role will contribute to this effort by overseeing our production and creative automation efforts, as well as ‘new ways of working’ for both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. This role will guide and mentor a team that maintains creative production guidelines, playbooks and templates for both internal and external partners (digital and print), tests tools and creative automations, and is responsible for production processes, metadata requirements and change management implementing these tools and automation efforts.
The Manager role is required to support/maintain all identity systems and standards required for Nordstrom branded content across multiple platforms, as well as collaborate with creative leaders to proactively seek out, contribute and deliver automations and innovations, championing the evolution of ‘new ways of working’ to deliver best in class, brand right work to fuel business demand.
The ideal candidate has extensive design and production experience and understands the entire production lifecycle from concept to delivery. They have demonstrated expertise with Adobe software used in creative production environments, as well as success in managing timely delivery of both internal and outsourced production work. This ideal candidate will also have the proficiency and ability to adapt to changing technologies and production methods as well as the flexibility to handle unexpected challenges and changes. They are known for keeping teams motivated and focused on desired outcomes and have a minimum of 8 years of management experience.

You own this if you have...
10+ years' experience in production or design, with minimum 8 years management experience.Strong Mac OS computer skills and understanding of design and production best practicesExpertise in Adobe Creative Cloud software, including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effect, etc.Proven success in high-volume, fast-paced omni-channel/multi-channel/retail environments across multiple geographies.Strong management skills in complex retail settings.Experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.Skilled in engaging with creative leaders, external vendors, and peers.Comfortable delivering presentations to diverse audiences.Strong understanding of modern design/production fundamentals and their application across all touchpoints.A strong aptitude for embracing AI technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy and innovation in job-related duties.Attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communications.Proficient in managing teams, timelines, and projects while collaborating across departments.Bachelor's degree in design, production or operations, or related field/equivalent experience preferred.Experience with Figma, Sanity CMS and Innervate DCO is a plusExperience with Adobe Workfront, AEM and CMS (Content Management System) preferred#LI-Hybrid

Pay Range Details

Washington: $90,000-$175,000 annuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
