The Creative Production Studio Director will oversee the creation, execution, and strategic alignment of multimedia video and production design content across various platforms. The ideal candidate is experienced at leading strong creative vision from planning and final execution. This role will focus on developing and implementing multimedia and production design strategies that align with business and marketing goals to drive engagement, brand visibility, business growth while optimizing efficiency and speed. The Creative Production Studio Director reports to Creative Director II and will lead a studio team of internal and external multimedia and production professionals ensuring that projects are executed with excellence. This position requires a balance of creative insight, team management, and operational expertise. Although it is not a requirement, candidates local to Salt Lake City area in a hybrid office/remote environment are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and execute multimedia content strategy to support marketing initiatives, brand campaigns, and internal communications.Analyze market trends, audience behavior, and competitive landscape to inform and refine multimedia strategies.Continuously track and optimize strategies across multimedia and content asset development based on performance metrics, user engagement, and feedback.Drive the creative vision of multimedia content for diverse platforms (e.g., CTV ads, high-level brand campaign videos, social media, websites, podcasts, audio, and digital ads) with a focus on maximizing impactand engagement.Stay updated on latest multimedia trends, tools, and best practices and identify opportunities for innovation.Lead the direction of studio team and identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices to optimize productivity and efficiency.Create and lead team in effective processes for rapid asset development, testing, and iteration of media assets.
Team Management & Development:Lead, mentor, and develop a studio team of multimedia specialists, copywriters, and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of creatives, production designers, videographers, editors, and copywriters while cultivating a positive team culture.Assign projects, oversee workloads, and ensure high-quality output from concept through execution.Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify areas for development.Manage the day-to-day operations of the studio team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, within scope, and meet objectives.
Budgeting & Resource Allocation:Manage production budgets, including costs for equipment, software, outsourcing, and other resources.
Develop and oversee relationships with external contractors and vendors to ensure effective and efficient outcomes that maintain integrity of brands.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of developing and executing multimedia strategies that drive business results.Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of multimedia projects, including high-production level videos, and visual design acuity.Expertise in multimedia production tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Education & Years of Experience:
Minimimum 3-5 years of experience with at least 3 years in a strategic and leadership roleBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Multimedia, Film/Video production, or a related field.We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $114,300 -- $276,900 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
