Job Overview:
The Credentialed Trainer is responsible for providing staff education on IT (Information Technology) applications to include Epic electronic health record software. This staff education will be delivered virtually and in-classroom. Credentialed Trainers provide customer support, answer customer hotlines, assist with development of training materials and escalate issues as needed. This position requires a commitment to work full time alongside training and other operational and IT professionals.

Minimum: Associate DegreeThree or more years of related work experience with one year of Epic Electronic Health Record experienceComplete knowledge of office procedures and MS Office Suite requiredHas trained up to 50 Classes in business or healthcare settingPreferred:

The Credentialed Trainer is primarily responsible for classroom and virtual training of end users of the Epic and IT applications. In addition to the duties discussed in the Role Description, the Credentialed Trainer is responsible for the following:
Workflow Analysis and Curriculum Design and Development:Assisting in the identification of end-users (role and headcount) requiring training on applicable applicationsReviewing and becoming well-versed in the E-Learning tools that will be available to end-usersTraining Execution and End-User Support:Delivering end-user trainingAssist with designing and developing the methodology for tracking and reporting end-user training statistics (e.g., attendance, competency, success rate, etc.)Coordinate logistics associated with training delivery preparation activities such as copying and assembling printed materials, set-up, maintenance of training rooms, equipment preparation, post training, clean-up, etc.Communicate changes and enhancements of the Epic electronic health record and IT applications to the end usersIndependently leads ongoing training and acts as the primary training support of Epic and IT applications.At Go-Live, Credentialed Trainers will be: Providing one-on-one or remedial training for end-users as neededAttending go-live triage meetings to solicit and facilitate end-user feedback on systemBeing flexible in terms of work schedule management and accessibility during training delivery and Go-LiveProviding go-live support for users on new applications, including functionalityProviding on-call support for application through go-live and post go-liveJob-Specific CompetenciesAttend a formal training class specifically for Epic credentialed trainers and Train the Trainer classes for IT applications.Receive training on the courses (applications) that will be taughtTraining will be 5-6 weeks (about 1 and a half months) to become a credentialed trainerComplete a credentialing exam with a minimum score of 85%Pass all end-user proficiency assessment with a minimum score of 80%Give a formal panel presentation on the material you will be teaching.Other Duties:
