We are a dentistry referral hospital located in a beautiful 4,000 square-foot facility with all of the bells and whistles, including: Cone beam CT scanner in a dedicated CT suite Surgery suite Large open treatment area with two-story height ceilings, upfitted with dedicated outlets for O2, compressed air & scavenging for multiple dental tables Fully-equipped in-house lab with Idexx analyzers, centrifuge, microscope, etc IV pumps dedicated to each dental station and surgery suite Anesthesia machines dedicated to each dental station and surgery suite CRI pumps Multiparameter monitors for each station and the surgery table (EtCO2, SpO2, BP, Temp, HR, RR, ECG) Ventilators Piezotome Dedicated training space for wet labs, equipped with eleven stations, each with its own high speed handpiece. Position Skills: Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring Proficient in dental prophylaxis and dental radiology Position Requirements: Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
