Conducting a detailed and thorough review of practitioner applications.Performing outreach to primary sources to obtain practitioners’ information and conducting a thorough review of the primary source verifications obtained. Credentialing Coordinators are also responsible for verifying and documenting expirables using acceptable verification sources to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. Providing support and coordination of medical staff committees such as the Credentials Committee, Medical Staff Executive Committee, and Board meetings.Assisting with delegated health plan, Joint Commission and MDH audits.Performs miscellaneous job-duties as assigned.Licensure/Certification Qualifications:No certification/licensure required.
