Position Purpose: Perform credentialing and related activities based on plan specifications and additional necessary tasks post credentialing.
***The Credentialing Specialist II is fully remote. Candidates will be considered nationally but, a Washington state resident is preferred.***
Responsibilities:
Perform credentialing and re-credentialing activities according to plan specifications and in compliance with NCQA standardsCommunicate with professionalism with physicians, office managers, providers, and other third parties to secure needed informationGather information for Analysts and NegotiatorsProcess, track and file credentialing applications within established standardsGenerate and utilize reporting to support business functionsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining qualityEducation/Experience: Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience 2+ years of provider data management and/or credentialing experience, preferably in a managed care or insurance environment.Pay Range: $22.79 - $38.84 per hourCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.
