Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. Job Summary
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.Coordinates the activities required for the initial appointment of physicians advanced practice providers.Coordinates the activities required for the re-appointment of physicians and advance practice providers.Maintains a credentialing process that meets statutory and regulatory requirements.Collaborates with medical staff leadership in the appointment and reappointment of physicians and advanced practice providers.Supports the medical staff in the appointment and reappointment of physicians and advanced practice providers in meeting as required.Assists medical staff to create and maintain criteria for privileging and delineation of clinical privileges.Collaborates with hospital leadership throughout the system in the appointment and reappointment of physicians and advanced practice providers.Work Schedule: 80 Hours Biweekly. Full Time.
Qualifications/Training:
Minimum of 2 years healthcare experience with emphasis that the candidate has experience in:
Extensive communication skills both verbal and writtenProblem solving and organizational skillsConflict negotiation skillsClerical skills with emphasis in resource managementAbility to insure the confidentiality of issuesStrong computer skills including skills in Word, Excel, PowerPointLicenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education
