Job Summary
The Credit Administrator is responsible for providing critical support in our Credit and Underwriting department by processing credit applications, pulling credit reports, updating systems, contacting credit references, processing initial customer deposits, and reviewing the customer's background history. The position requires high-level administrative, communication, dependability, and organizational abilities in a busy office setting.

Major Areas of Responsibility / Daily Job Duties
+ Process credit applications.
+ Review the accuracy of credit applications and contact the Account Manager and/or customers to resolve any invalid detail(s).
+ Ensure accurate data entry is saved on application accounts once it has been processed.
+ Create customer files in the internal drive.
+ Maintain customer files in the internal drive clean and up to date.
+ Process payments on active applications and per account manager request.
+ Process and review the backgrounds of applicants while maintaining accurate records for the account managers.
+ Process business PayNets.
+ Process credit references on previous loans by communicating with the previous loan originator.
+ Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by Credit Management.
+ Maintaining a high level of communication between all departments.
+ Adhere to company policies and procedures and escalate any non-compliant matters to Credit Management.
Qualifications
+ No specific experience related to the Job Duties is required.
+ Experience working in an office environment is required.
+ Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Typing needs to be accurate at 60 WPM (typing test will be administered).
+ Extremely high attention to detail.
+ Extremely high sense of urgency and a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
+ Proactive, “take-charge” work ethic.
+ Dependability.
+ Familiarity with any of the following areas is preferred but not required:
+ Credit Bureau Reporting: Experian
+ Data Entry: Salesforce and Paylocity
Benefits & Schedule
+ $20 - $24 per hour (based on experience), 40-hour workweek.
