Credit Analyst
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Credit Analyst in the construction industry. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, this role involves managing accounts and analyzing credit data and financial information of individuals or firms that are applying for credit or loans to determine the risk that the bank, or other lending or credit-granting institution will not recoup funds loaned. Responsibilities: • Analyzing customer's credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in lending money or extending credit. • Examining cash flow and financial statements to determine the quality of the credit and the likelihood of repayment. • Managing a heavy volume of customer accounts, ensuring all are up to date and accurate. • Processing customer credit applications, ensuring they meet industry standards and guidelines. • Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. • Utilizing knowledge of account management and construction to provide high-quality customer service. • Understanding and utilizing collection processes to ensure the recovery of outstanding payments. • Conducting detailed research to assess the financial history of potential clients or customers. • Assisting in the development of credit policies and standards to ensure they meet industry regulations. • Working closely with other financial professionals to ensure clients' financial needs are met. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Credit Analyst • Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) management • Skilled in Cash Flow Analysis • Demonstrated knowledge of Collection Processes • Strong understanding of Credit policies and procedures • Experience in Account Management • Familiarity with the Construction industry is a plus • Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
