Our GFL team is expanding, and we’re looking for a Credit Analyst to join us remote in Vaughan. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for the credit adjudication of incoming new accounts, plus the review of existing accounts, and work order releases.

A “Day in the Life" of Credit Analyst

Maintain relationships with the business to ensure mitigated risk on incoming and existing accountsIdentifying escalation opportunities to ensure integrity of credit limitsMaintain the accuracy of the information retained for those customers, terms, customer definedOrganization and assistance with external audit requirementsSeeks new ideas to improve efficiency in completing own workRead and interrupt various credit reporting toolsBankruptcy filesComply with all company policies, procedures, and directives from management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or related fieldsStrong attention to detail, and ability to flow through financial transactionsAble to support a tight schedule and provide timely analysis of resultsMust possess a desire to effect change and make a difference in the organizationAble to generate superior financial information (including agency reporting)Handle ambiguity and excel in a dynamic and rapidly changing environmentSuperior communication and teamwork skillsExcellent computer literacy covering operational and Microsoft office suite, with an intermediate to advanced proficiency in ExcelSome periodic overtime is expected during busy seasonsBilingual in French & English considered an assetBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study an asset
