Overview

We are currently seeking a Credit Analyst, which responsible for providing supports to relationship managers, thereby facilitating the initiation and servicing of commercial credit and banking relationships. Review the commercial loan portfolio to ensure sufficient, current and accurate credit records are maintained within the systems. Underwrite renewals, annual reviews, and new loan within assigned threshold.

Responsibilities Compile spreadsheets and analyze financial statements, examine transaction documentsEvaluate financial condition and transaction structure, including collateral analysisGenerate ratios for use in evaluating commercial customer’s financial statusPerform online access to Bloomberg, IE ratings, Moody’s, S&P, etc.Interprets RMA statistics and industry comparisons; compare items, such as liquidity, profitability, credit history, and trend analysis with other companies of same industry, size, and geographic locationAnalyze such factors as income growth, quality of management, market share, potential risks of industry, and collateral appraisal to determine the risk involved in lending to commercial customersUnderwrite credit requests including results of credit analysis and summary of loan requestDescribe credit risk, provides mitigates and results of credit analysis and amount of loan profitNotes policy exceptions and possible mitigatesAssist in preparing the proposal to loan committee for decisionMay collect information as part of analysisPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, banking administration or similar field; 1-2 years related experience and/or training in credit analysisExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with focus on quality and integrityFlexible and adaptable to a dynamic environmentFamiliarity with lending procedures, laws, and regulationsFlexible and adaptable to a dynamic environmentExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - USD $32.00/Hr.
