Description We are seeking an experienced Credit Officer to join a highly reputable organization. This role focuses on the evaluation, processing, and financial analysis of housing development projects. Key Responsibilities: + Market, evaluate, and process housing loans, assisting applicants with obtaining additional funding from sources. + Perform in-depth financial analyses of mortgage applications for housing developments, utilizing advanced financial tools to develop strategic solutions. + Collaborate with applicants to establish project timelines, evaluate design and development costs, mitigate risk factors, and ensure timely project closings. + Analyze population, housing, market, and economic data to determine project feasibility. + Maintain and update financial feasibility analysis documents for review by internal committees. + Review appraisals and market studies, providing recommendations for project approval or disapproval. + Prepare evaluative reports and feasibility analyses, recommending construction and/or permanent mortgage loans for approval. + Review cost audits, closing statements, and other critical financial documents for accuracy and alignment with underwriting standards. Requirements Qualifications: + Extensive experience in credit analysis and/or underwriting. + Proficiency in financial analysis tools and mortgage processing. + Strong project management and leadership skills. + Familiarity with Federal, State, and municipal housing programs. + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
