Credit Analyst
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst in Chicago, Illinois. The role is within an industry where you will be expected to manage credit risk and conduct data analyses. This position will require you to work closely with internal teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and present business cases for new initiatives. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner • Keep customer credit records up-to-date and precise • Handle customer inquiries and resolve them efficiently • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Conduct in-depth data analyses to assess risk and performance metrics • Collaborate with internal departments to devise and implement risk mitigation strategies • Keep track of industry trends and economic factors that can influence credit risk • Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk models and tools • Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to senior management • Develop business cases for new credit risk initiatives using your analytical skills • Build and maintain economic models to measure the profitability of credit risk initiatives. Requirements • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems for efficient financial record keeping. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services to manage payroll and other financial processes. • Adeptness in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to maintain and build client relations. • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for streamlining business processes. • Ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely payment collection. • Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis to assess the company's financial health. • Experience in Collection Processes to manage outstanding invoices and payments. • Strong understanding of Credit and Credit Application processes. • Capability to work with Microsoft SQL for managing and manipulating database systems. • Proficiency in Python for advanced data analysis and automation tasks.
