The Credit Analyst program is expected to develop an applicant toward becoming a Loan Officer in the coming years. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: + Primarily completes underwriting on C&I and CRE loans <$750M. + Analyzes financial statements (including performance ratios) of all levels of quality to develop initial assessment by identifying strengths and weaknesses as pertaining to borrower/guarantor historical performance. + Understands financial data such as balance sheets, income statements, tax returns, UCA cash flow statements, financial ratios, etc. + In-depth historical and projected financial and cash flow analysis, including communicating with the borrower to gain a better understanding of the companys operating and accounting practices. + Completes credit and background investigation for the borrower and guarantors. + Conducts and documents industry, market, and economic research and its impact on the borrower/guarantor. + Analyzes the loan requests collateral and ensures no policy exceptions are occurring. + Performs real estate appraisal reviews and evaluations. + Completes loan covenant testing to ensure the covenant is satisfied and the file is documented. + Conducts floor plan and construction inspections. + Attends weekly Officer and L&D Loan Committee meetings and is available to answer questions regarding credit analysis as necessary. + Actively participates in all assigned training and development sessions. + Other duties as required. Job Requirements: + Preferred minimum of 3 months of experience as a Credit Analyst. + Bachelors Degree in related field (Accounting, Finance, etc.). + Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. + Excellent verbal/written, organization, and interpersonal communication skills. + Excellent customer service skills, internally and externally. + Excellent analytical, time management, mathematical, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment. + Must be self-motivated with strong initiative, accountability, and attention to detail. + The ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs. up to a height of 3-4 ft. + Must have the ability to remain in stationary positions 75% of the work day. + Other basic work environment skills.
