Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Credit and Collections Specialist in the industry located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role will require you to effectively manage customer credit applications, maintain precise records, and handle customer inquiries. You will be expected to monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner • Assign appropriate credit limits to customers • Ensure customer credit records are accurate and up-to-date • Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to credit and collections • Post customer payments promptly and accurately • Regularly monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances • Perform account reconciliation tasks as needed • Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks • Conduct cash collections and cash applications activities • Carry out commercial collections duties as per the industry standard. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required • Must have experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) • Familiarity with Billing procedures is essential • Must be adept at Cash Applications • Experience in Cash Collections is necessary • Knowledge of Commercial Collections is advantageous • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must • Familiarity with Oracle software is beneficial • QuickBooks experience is highly desirable • Proficiency in SAP software is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
