Credit Associate
Pay Range: $22.73 - $30.31 Associate will spread financial statements, borrowing base spreads and assist with covenant management. Associate will complete other various administrative tasks including but not limited to completing extension forms, reviewing ACH overlimits, national tenant reports, municipal underwriting, officers loan committee and deal screen minutes, line of credit changes and additional duties as seen fit. Education and Experience: + Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree with a degree in accounting or finance preferred. Experience in Commercial, Credit, Retail, or Banking operating preferred. + RMA Courses such as (not required all but a plus) Accounting and Ratio Analysis, The Business of Commercial Banking, Ethics and Decision Making, Borrower Analysis: Qualitative Factors, Balance Sheet Analysis, Income Statement Analysis, Combined Balance Sheet and Income Statement Analysis Skills and Abilities: + Ability to interpret data while researching, analyzing and drawing conclusions + Ability to read and begin to understand loan documentation, loan structures, financial statements along with having a financial wellness acumen + Ability to maintain a strong knowledge of loan policy and procedures + Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills with attention to detail + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong presentation skills + Ability to make decisions effectively and handle conflict resolution + Team player able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment + Beginner to Intermediate competency with Microsoft Office suite, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook + Experience with nCino a plus Tasks Performed: + 20% Provides guidance to credit and commercial lending in understanding and utilizing various reports, including support to end users, creating reporting, providing best-practice recommendations, and assisting in managing data. + 20% Provides support to Credit Administration with the timely and accurate production and coordination of reports and policy updates. This includes weekly Operating Loan Committee and monthly Directors Loan Committee packages, coordinating periodic policy meetings, managing the annual review process, updating loan policy, and various other reports and policies as requested. + 15% Lead coordinator for the annual review process end to end as a critical risk management control. This includes analyzing, coordinating and implementing workflow enhancements, collaborating with commercial lending business partners on Work in Process WIP, construction reporting, field exams and other credit administration functions. + 15% Represents Credit Administration by taking a lead role in a variety of cross-functional project-based initiatives including but not limited to data validation, data governance, finance projects, and loan origination projects. + 15% Serves as primary data steward for Credit Administration to include policy exception management, report writing, data remediation and serves as a liaison with other data stewards and the Data Governance Office. + 5% Coordinates the compilation of reports for bank regulators, auditors and loan review, and coordinate special projects as assigned. + 5% Coordinates and maintains the departments internal online communications. + 5% Perform other duties as assigned.
