Credit Bureau Reporting Function Manager

Job Description:

At Regions, the Credit Bureau Reporting Function Manager within second line of defense Risk Management ensures that consumer credit information is reported to credit reporting agencies accurately and in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.  This position creates policy to improve quality control and consistency across all Regions consumer lending businesses as it relates to consumer reporting and the consumer dispute process.

Primary Responsibilities

Serves as subject matter expert for consumer credit reporting and related reporting and updates to bureau agenciesRecommends process and procedural improvements as it relates to credit bureau reporting and consumer dispute research processesDevelops quality control through audit reporting reviews from bureaus of consumer reported information, and ensure incorrect information is permanently updatedWorks with functional teams to standardize periodic credit reporting and dispute process standards

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. 


Requirements

Bachelor's   degree business or liberal artsSix (6) years of consumer credit bureau reportingThree (3) years of experience managing major credit bureau relationships

Preferences

Project management experienceSolid understanding of credit reporting from loan servicing systems credit card (TSYS), personal loans (ACLS) and Mortgage Servicing Platform

Skills and Competencies

Excellent written and oral communicationFamiliarity with credit industry reporting standards and credit bureau reporting metricsKnowledge of Metro 2, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Consumer Data Industry Association, analytics, disputes and eOSCARSProven experience in issue identification and remediationExperience partnering with vendors and lines of business to achieve results

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$148,230.00 USD
