Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the finance sector in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role of a Credit Clerk will involve assisting the credit team with various tasks, and utilizing skills in Microsoft Excel, Credit - Collections, and Corporate Credit. Responsibilities: • Assist the credit team in their daily operations • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data • Handle credit - collections tasks to ensure smooth financial operations • Play a crucial role in managing corporate credit • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Maintain and regularly update customer credit records • Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary • Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including the ability to create spreadsheets, perform calculations, and generate reports. • Demonstrated experience in credit and collections, with a focus on maintaining accurate records, managing collection efforts, and resolving any discrepancies. • Solid understanding of corporate credit, including the ability to assess creditworthiness, manage credit limits, and handle credit applications. • An ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders regarding credit-related issues. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. • Good organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner. • A high level of professionalism and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters related to credit and collections. • A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred. • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
