We are looking for a Credit Collection Specialist who will support with improving the company’s ageing profile and DSO status through focussed and consistently applied collection practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Responsibility for proactive and effective cash collections activities across a high profile, complex portfolio of customers.
+ Coordination and management of activities relating to customers going through a bankruptcy, liquidation, or litigation process, alongside other special case handling to ensure optimal recovery of all balances due.
+ Maintain customer contact by phone, email and letter and maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records for their allocated portfolio of customers, ensuring all interactions and details are recorded in the required systems of records.
+ Effective use of Oracle Advanced Collection Module and other tools available to ensure prompt and efficient resolution of invoice queries and identification of disputes which lead to payments being received in a timely manner
+ Ensure adherence to all applicable collections policies as set out and updated from time to time.
+ Ensure appropriate risk assessments across the assigned portfolio of customers to ensure timely accurate reporting of perceived risks, with overall focus to minimise bad debt exposure.
+ Support promotion and adoption of key business initiatives to aid improved business performance, and customer experience.
+ Work with line management, and leadership to aid timely escalation and resolution on complex or bespoke collections issues.
+ Successful achievement of all cash collection business objectives and personal performance objectives as set out by line management and the leadership teams.
+ To build and maintain effective and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
+ To identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and work with all functions to implement new processes and procedures.
+ Be a flexible member of the team & support other members of the department with their work activities when required.
**Requirements and skills**
+ English C1/C2.
+ Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
+ Excellent IT skills, use of Microsoft Office suite of productions as well as G-Suite.
+ Excellent written and verbal skills, with a professional telephone manner.
+ Numerate with strong problem solving skills.
+ Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to deal with multiple demands on time and resource.
+ Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and change.
+ Proven track record in chasing historical debt and resolving problem debt in a timely manner.
+ Collection and management experience of working Corporate level customer accounts is desirable.
