Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager
Description We are looking for a Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Brea, California. In this role, you will be overseeing the processing of customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and managing customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Ensure the maintenance of precise customer credit records • Manage customer inquiries and resolve them effectively • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required • Understand and manage lease and finance-related aspects of the industry • Maintain a thorough understanding of how contracts work, including the impact of aging on the company's cash flow • Utilize strong management skills to build, coach and unify the team • Apply knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) and general ledger accounting principles • Communicate efficiently with various teams to achieve set goals • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, with a focus on matching reconciliations and the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP • Evaluate and approve clients' credit, including the review and approval of credit limits. Requirements • Proven experience as a Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager for a minimum of 5 years. • Proficiency in B2B collections. • Strong understanding and experience in Accounting Functions. • Demonstrable skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR). • Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively. • Experience in managing Cash Activity and Cash Applications. • Familiarity with Lease Contracts. • Proficiency in using Acumatica software. • Capability to use VLOOKUP functions proficiently. • Expertise in creating and managing Pivot Tables.
