The Credit Control Specialist's main focus is on the improvement of Working Capital KPI’s, like DSO, BPDSO and % current improvements to target and execute the Credit Policy to guarantee a high level of compliance.
Responsibilities:
Position will be working as part of the Credit and Collection DepartmentPerforms collection activities on due invoices and dunning proceduresCredit checks on new and existing customersMonitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO % CurrentEnsure the way of working is compliant with the Global Credit Policy and Level of Authority documentsEnsure business processes operate effectively to an appropriate level of fiscal complianceEnsure accurate and timely collection of current and overdue receivablesMonitor and review credit limits in compliance with the Global Credit Policy and make sure these credit limits are communicated with the relevant regionsMonitor and advice on the local portfolio’s including the A/R report and communicate pro-active recommendations with ultimate purpose to minimize lossesDeliver continuous improvement by advising on credit risk related processes & services to the organizationQualifications:
At least 1 year working experience in the accounting area of credit and collectionsDetermination to respond to tight deadlinesNaturally driven to work with confidence in a complex business environmentExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail (including the necessary paperwork) and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyPromptness and good communication with other departmentsHands-on mentality with the ability to work independentlyStrong presence and credibility is desiredFluent English in speaking and writing is a mustInquisitive, pro-active and preciseGood knowledge of MS Excel (Reporting purposes)
