Job Title: Credit Controller (Afrikaans Speaker)

Location: Milton Keynes

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract in Milton Keynes. This role requires fluency in Afrikaans to support the South Africa team in resolving queries, managing debt recovery, and maintaining accurate financial records.

You will work closely with the Credit Control Manager, reconciling ledgers and ensuring that outstanding debts are minimized across BSI’s Product Certification, System Certification, and Training businesses. Your ability to collaborate with finance teams and other departments will be key in ensuring accurate, well-maintained records and effective debt management.

Responsibilities:

Contact Key, Strategic, and Global accounts to collect payments.Work with the Credit Control Manager to chase outstanding debts and minimize bad debt.Resolve customer queries efficiently while ensuring excellent service and fair treatment.Coordinate with internal teams to prevent services from being provided to bad debt clients.Escalate non-paying clients to the Credit Control Manager as needed.Manage client correspondence, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.Manage a minimum of 50/60 calls per dayControl a ledger of approx. 800 clients

To be successful in the role, you will have:

Must be a Afrikaans SpeakerHold intermediate Excel knowledgePrevious experience within a credit control environmentWorking knowledge of SAP/ Point Global /Sales ForceDedicated to high standards of customer service
