Credit & Cost Accountant Summary Title:Credit & Cost Accountant ID:1264 Department:General Job Type:Full Time Location:Utah Description THE OPPORTUNITY: Steel Encounters is looking for a Credit & Cost Accountant to add to our team. As a key member of our accounting team, this role will monitor credit and cash, create cost control measures, manage the accounting for our employee ownership trust, and handle several components of corporate tax. BENEFIT/PERKS: + Competitive salary: $28.85-33.65 hourly commensurate on experience ($60,000-$70,000 annualized) + Health / Dental / Vision (Company pays 75% of Health premium) + Annual Bonus + Paid vacation time (10 days) and Paid Holidays (8) + Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401K What YOU WILL DO + Credit Management + Reviewing credit applications and monitoring credit limits to minimize risk of nonpayment + Daily Cash tracking, bank and credit line reconciliation. + Support in the collection of overdue payments + Communicate with bonding company regarding receivables + Cost Accounting + Implement tracking systems and control measures for corporate travel program + Lead in complex construction project setup to ensure costs are appropriately allocated and gross margin is correct + Create spending cost control systems for administrative and overhead cost + Develop metrics to determine company funds are appropriately spent + Tax + Personal property tax filings + Manage the sales tax database and keep up to date + File sales tax + Process 1099s + ESOP - Employee Stock Ownership Plan and Trust: Steel Encounters is an employee-owned company.
