Job Description

Reporting to the Global Credit and Collections Manager, the Credit Manager role is responsible for managing the credit assessment process of the organization globally, mitigating credit risk, and ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Support the development and implementation of global credit policies and procedures Review credit applications of new customers and conduct credit checks Set and enforce credit limits based on risk assessment Manage day-to-day operations on review of orders on credit hold, periodic review of accounts, approval of credit limits, and classification of risk categories Support in management of Customer Master Data (deactivation/reactivation of accounts) Collaborate regularly with business segment leaders, sales, and customer operations teams to optimize credit processes Actively support collections on mitigating risks from overdue accounts to minimize bad debt Implement required global internal controls and ensure team’s compliance Seek opportunities for Continuous Improvement and Digitalization of the credit process Support the Global Credit and Collections Manager to drive effective process governance, stakeholder management, and project management (as required) Support the various sitewide initiatives of Grace GBS Manila Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a similar discipline 7+ years of experience in credit management, preferably on a GBS setup 3+ years of experience leading a team  SAP / SAP FSCM Credit Management / DnB experience highly preferred Experience in developing an organization’s internal scoring model highly preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong leadership skills Knowledge on collections process preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Excel Flexibility on hours Benefits Guaranteed 14th Month Pay Above-market Retirement Plan Design LinkedIn Learning Access Established Performance Incentive Program HMO coverage for employees on day 1 (with pandemic coverage) Free HMO coverage for up to 3 qualified dependents Educational Assistance
