This position will report to the Director of Finance and will coordinate the activities of the Accounts Receivables Department. Duties include: - Evaluating all credit applications from current and potential clients. Approving credit within the hotel's guidelines. - Work with delinquent accounts to secure payment and resolve any billing disputes in a timely manner. - Report to DOF and ADOF any possible bad debt scenarios and work clients to set up a payment arrangement. - Supervise A/R clerk in day to day tasks and priorities. Qualifications Must have at least 2 to 3 years A/R experience. Preferably in a hospitality environment. Must be aggressive in collections without damaging the hotel's reputation for excellence in service. Able to manage multiple tasks and to organize multiple accounts. Able to respond quickly to Guest inquiries and resolve billing disputes in a effective and timely manner. Strong computer skills in Word and Excel. Previous experience with a accounting software program such as MAS 90, Great Plains or other accounting program. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $63,000.00/Yr. - $65,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
