This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 2-3 days per week onsite at a Beacon branch and the remainder remote. What you will do: Support Branch and District Management team on achieving EBIDTA objectives through organic sales growth, customer management and financial discipline Assess and manage credit risk Extend credit to customers in accordance with company policies Monitor and update credit information to existing customer base Manage assigned AR portfolio through direct involvement with customers and internal resources Negotiate and secure arrangements for payment with delinquent accounts Need to be subject matter expert of all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to credit management. To include: Anti-Trust Mechanics Liens Payment & Performance Bonds Fair Debt Collection Act Travel required to meet with customers and branch personnel (33% minimum) What you will bring: Outgoing and dynamic personality with a focus on exemplary customer service Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred Minimum 5 years’ experience in credit and collections management Previous experience in industrial distribution or construction industry a plus; experience in a multi-location environment also a plus Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiating skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Fluent in Spanish or additional language a plus Possess ability use sound judgment to independently problem solve customer issues leading to growth opportunities Independent thinker able to work in a collaborative environment to provide business solutions
