Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Portfolio Officer for its Wilmington, Delaware location.
Duties: Develop statistical models using regression techniques and statistical methodologies to classify customer activities based on risk or reward, to support credit risk mitigation decisions. Use SQL, SAS, R, Python and data warehouse querying tools to retrieve historical and real time transaction and payment information. Synthesize large datasets to conduct data analytics and translate into useful business insights. Use analytical and statistical tools to provide solutions to mitigate risk exposures associated with authorization of bad transactions and to manage customer point of sales impacts; perform analysis of credit product lifecycles. Use relational databases and information systems and perform analysis and data visualization using Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau in a Unix environment. Perform data cleaning, data processing and data translation. Design data driven analytic and reporting solutions using BI and software tools SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, SAS E Miner, Knowledge Studio. Analyze models developed in big data and machine learning. Assess model performance outcomes benchmark and evaluation for model-based strategies implementation. Analysis of credit portfolio performance metrics including P&L analysis. Analyze payments and sales flows and create strategies to prevent losses resulting from credit abuse. Develop Credit Authorizations, Credit Abuse and Payments Risk strategies; drive strategy changes based on analytics and collaborate to execute changes. Use data analytics tools to manage Credit Authorizations & First Party Fraud for Branded Cards and Retail Services. Evaluate reporting infrastructure to improve process efficiencies and reporting quality. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or related field and 2 years of experience as Risk Analyst, Risk Strategic Analytics Associate, Analytics Sr. Associate, Credit Portfolio Analyst, Advisor or related position involving data analytics for credit risk and credit product lifecycles. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified experience. 2 years of experience must include: Statistical modeling using SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau; Analysis of models developed in big data and machine learning; Consumer credit products and services; Credit portfolio performance metrics including P&L analysis; Relational databases and information systems; Data cleaning, data processing and data translation; Unix environment; Model performance outcomes benchmark and evaluation for model-based strategies implementation; Data visualization using Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau; and Preparing and delivering presentations addressing legal and governance issues. At least 1 year must include risk management modeling, R, SAS E Miner, Knowledge Studio, Credit risk governance requirements for credit risk losses.
