Martin Marietta is hiring a Credit Representative based out of Indianapolis, IN to support the collections of accounts receivable within the assigned locations. This position works closely with the Division Credit Manager, credit staff and sales to meet customer requirements and collection goals. Knowledge of construction lien laws is a plus, in order to protect accounts receivable, minimize losses and maximize cash flow. RequirementsManage individual portfolio of customer accountsContact customers to collects past due accounts receivable balances and meeting daily contact quota provided by managementFile liens to protect accounts receivable, in compliance with state regulations where customer and project is locatedProcess and complete lien waiver and releasesMaintain a clean aging file by resolving customer adjustments in timely mannerManage high risk/sensitive customer accounts as neededPresent collection updates to management, and sales team on individual customersInteract and provide support to management, sales and shared services teams as necessary (customer disputes and inquiries)Achieve monthly DSO and collection percentage goals CompetenciesEthical ConductTeamworkHigh Sense of UrgencyDrive for ResultsRelationship BuildingAttention to Detail Minimum Education and Experience2-year degree in Business or equivalent work experience is required 3 years collection background preferred in commercial industry is preferred Work Environment
