Credit Representative
The Credit Representative maintains all assigned credit accounts, and initiates collection action on past due accounts. Processes various Billing & Statements monthly. Main Responsibilities: + Make daily collection calls, conducts account research and analysis, resolves discrepancies and executes the necessary process for adjustments. + Maintains call notes in system. + Interfaces with Sales staff and Publishers of Assigned publications on problem accounts. + Notifies the Credit Manager of problem accounts. + Prepares and maintains credit card requests withing PCI Compliance. + Process credit card transactions and run daily reports. + Re-bills and tracks special billing accounts on a monthly basis. + Provides invoice copies and tear sheets to clients upon request. + Maintain an accurate aging report. + Assist Rep Teams regarding Directory Guide Aging who have various assigned territories. + Process Monthly Statements and seasonally Acknowledgements for the Directory Guide. + Prepare Monthly Journal Entries. + Reviews, processes seasonal contracts. + Prepares and codes checks/payments received and provides required back up to the cash department for deposits on assigned publications. + Preforms other duties as assigned + Assists in special billing and Account Receivable projects as directed by Credit Manager and provides back-up support on projects. + Maintains client and publication files as needed + Preforms other duties as assigned Qualification requirements + Highschool diploma or GED required. + 2 - 3 years experience. + Prior account experience, collection seminars, and business classes highly desired. + Strong Excel and Word skills. + Strong verbal and written communication skills Other requirements: + Prolonged periods of sitting, computer usage, telephones, calculators and various office equipment. + May have to work extended hours to meet deadlines. + Ability to travel occasionally as needed. + Maintain confidentiality and high professional standards. + Ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment. + Good Communication skills internally and externally. + Strict adherence to deadlines and policies \#LI-Hybrid \#LI-RM1 **Pay Range:** $27.41-$32.56 Hourly In addition to competitive pay, we offer Paid Time Off, 401(k), an Employee Assistance Program, Good Sam Roadside Assistance, discounts, paid parental leave (if eligibility is met), Tuition Reimbursement (if eligibility is met), and on the job training opportunities.
