Position Overview:
We are seeking an Analyst to join the Global Investment Grade Credit Research team. Our goal is to find a teammate who can support our business and help us build upon our long-term track record of performance and client service. The successful candidate will join a team of 15 Investment Grade Research Analysts based across EMEA and the US. The Analyst will be working closely with our Traders and Portfolio Managers, who are responsible for the broader Global Investment Grade platform, which manages over $70 billion. The team is sustaining a track record of AUM growth that has created the opportunity for a curious, hardworking person to join the team in supporting the business through client request management, data management, and research analyst support.
This role will report to the Co-Directors of Research for the Global Investment Grade Credit team and will support the global Investment Grade Portfolio Managers based in Chicago, London, Paris, and Milan.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own and author client commentaries and responses to unique requests by collaborating with sector analysts to craft comprehensive reviews for distribution
Liaise and collaborate with analysts, traders, portfolio managers, and other departments such as reporting and marketing to compile deliverables for diverse requests
Oversee and improve various monthly and quarterly reporting requests to ensure timely and accurate submissions as well as best practice process completion
Maintain proprietary datasets through diligent data management practices
Work with the technology team to streamline existing processes for increased efficiency
Support the research analyst team with credit work, including
Updating financial models and projections
Maintaining database entries as part of the underwriting process
Engaging in sector and issuer-related projects with the goal to learn and develop credit skills over time
Experience & Skills Qualifications:
1-2 years Fixed Income markets experience with exposure to multiple-industries and sub-asset classes
Series 7 at hire or shortly thereafter
Knowledge of credit underwriting and/or markets and/or exposure to the fixed income markets preferred
Strong writing skills and ability to adjust output for various audiences
Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet applications required
Proficiency in the use of computer tools such as Bloomberg, Excel. Coding and AI skills a plus
Ability and passion to developing and maintaining relationships across a global team
Excellent time-management, planning and organizational skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
Analytical and process-oriented
Self-starter with proven initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a global team, performing multiple job functions without compromising quality of output
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $70,000-$110,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location.
