Compensation Range

Hourly: $22.60 - $34.60 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

As a Credit Specialist II, you will conduct comprehensive financial analysis on companies of diverse industries and sizes. You’ll work with seasoned commercial bankers to conduct comprehensive financial analysis for commercial loan requests ranging from $250K to $50 Million by researching key underwriting criteria including loan structure, cash flow, collateral competition and industry considerations.

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to conduct comprehensive financial analysis on companies of diverse industries and sizes.

Essential Functions  

Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for commercial loan requests ranging from $250K to $50 Million by researching key underwriting criteria including loan structure, cash flow, collateral competition and industry considerations

Prepare credit packets  

Research and understand loan documentation and various bank systems 

Submit work for feedback and analysis 

Prepare financial spreads and other credit related items as needed 

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required 

Intermediate knowledge of basic financial concepts and financial statements 

Intermediate understanding of financial statements and key financial ratios such as leverage and debt service coverage

Excellent analytical skills utilizing financial and accounting principles

Ability to work overtime as needed

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities 

Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills 

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values 

Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 

Education & Experience 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience required

2+ years related financial services experience required

Previous banking experience preferred
