Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team and contribute to various defense projects. The ideal candidate will use CREO software to design components for ground vehicles, including armor, tanks, brackets, and wire harnesses. This role involves working closely with on-site engineers to bring models to life and ensuring all designs comply with existing standards. The position offers a challenging and engaging work environment with opportunities to work on a variety of projects.
ResponsibilitiesDesign mechanical and electrical components for ground vehicles using CREO software.Collaborate with on-site engineers to translate their requirements into functional designs.Work within Teamcenter to manage and store design information.Convert scanned parts into detailed drawings as part of the current project.Ensure all designs adhere to military and defense standards.Maintain effective communication with team members to discuss changes and hand off work efficiently.Essential SkillsProficiency in CREO design software with experience in defense projects.Basic understanding of military standards and the ability to follow existing guidelines.Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervision.Experience with Teamcenter PLM system.Strong communication skills to interact with engineers and other team members.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Must meet ITAR requirements.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
