Crew Chief Maintenance Tech
Join our team as a Crew Chief, Maintenance Technician, ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our aircraft with precision and expertise. As a Crew Chief Maintenance Tech within our Aviation team you will have comprehensive oversight of inspection, repair, and maintenance activities, adhering to stringent Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and manufacturers' guidelines. The Crew Chief is responsible for maintaining detailed records, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and ensuring that all aircraft systems function optimally. This role requires a proactive approach to safety management and continuous improvement, as well as collaboration with various teams to support aircraft operations globally. The Crew Chief also participates in ongoing training to stay current with the latest advancements in aviation technology and maintenance practices. **Job Responsibilities:** + Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and manufacturers' recommendations. + Complete and maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and forms as required by FARs and manufacturer programs. + Update maintenance status records in the Flight Log Binder. + Diagnose, isolate, and repair aircraft malfunctions. + Service and inspect the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and aircraft engines. + Adjust aircraft systems rigging to ensure optimal performance. + Conduct periodic inspections to ensure compliance with FAA standards. + Perform preflight and postflight inspections and servicing.Repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. + Maintain cabin systems and components to ensure passenger comfort and safety.. + Assist with aircraft arrivals and departures, including towing, wing walking, and passenger and baggage handling. + Participate in the Safety Management System by completing tasks assigned by the Director of Aviation. **Required qualifications, capabilities and skills** + FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license. + Minimum of 5 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance. + Advanced avionics and computer skills. + Willingness to travel extensively for worldwide maintenance support services. + Commitment to continuous education in aviation maintenance through accredited schools or manufacturer's training programs. **Preferred qualifications , capabilities and skills** + FAA Airframe and Inspector's Authorization (IA) Certificate. + Experience with advanced avionics systems. + Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Familiarity with Safety Management Systems in aviation. + Experience supervising maintenance teams or activities. + Knowledge of international aviation regulations and standards.
