An international agricultural products and services company, we handle agricultural commodities and have a diverse portfolio of products and businesses. **Summary** Perdue AgriBusiness has an exciting opportunity for a **Grain Crew - Leader** at our facility located in **Salisbury, MD,** supporting grain operations. Day shift hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for non-harvest; 7:00 am to 7:00 pm during harvest. Training starts on day shift. _Perdue AgriBusiness offers competitive wages and benefit packages to full-time, regular positions._ **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Assist the facility manager in managing the operations + Ensure working conditions for all associates are in compliance with the safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies + Assist the facility manager in coordinating and directing the daily activities of crews and teams that receive, dry, store, and distribute grain + Train and develop team members to perform required operational tasks + Operate grain probe (hand/automated) and grade grain for all factors + Operate grain receiving equipment + Operate grain drying and related equipment + Operate grain transfer and load out equipment + Operate lift truck equipment and perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment + Perform house keeping of all elevator areas + Perform routine and preventative maintenance on operational equipment with the grain facility to ensure maximum availability and longevity + Perform other tasks as assigned **Minimum Education** + High School or equivalent **Experience Requirements** + Minimum 1 year of leadership experience **Experience Preferred** + Previous grain operations experience - **_preferred_** **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** + Able to move freely throughout the agribusiness facilities including climbing vertical heights (0 -150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-50 lbs.), exposure temperatures (0-100) degrees Fahrenheit, humidity (0-100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available) + Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus + Required to travel to remote agribusiness facilities and customer locations _Perdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
